Doctor
Профессия (на RU)
Доступ: Medbay
Сложность: Medium-Hard
Руководители: Chief Medical Officer
Обязанности: Perform surgery, fix people with holes in them.
Руководства: Surgery, Guide to chemistry, Chemical recipes
Цитаты: And that's how I lost my medical license!

Forewarning, Doctor is the worst job. The amount of work you get is inverse to how successful the Marines are doing, meaning you can go from doing nothing to being overworked in seconds.

Equipment

Body Scanner Body Scanner

This tells you nearly exactly what is wrong with the patient, do this before every surgery even if they THINK they know what is wrong. HOW: Grab patient, left click Body Scanner, left click body scanner console, right click body scanner EJECT PATIENT. IF you have closed the page with the results, examine the patient WHILE WEARING a medical HUD and there should be their SCAN results from the time it was taken, click to open.

Directions for use:

  • Grab patient.
  • Click scanner to load patient.
  • Use the connected Body Scanner console to create a report.
  • Right-click scanner, and select "Eject Patient" to retrieve patient for other procedures.

Sleeper Sleeper

Mostly unused, aside from when some idiot has gotten OVERDOSED (OD) on a chemical (although Hypervene will also help, unless the patient's dead). For this, use the "Dialysis" function.

Directions for use:

  • Grab patient.
  • Click the sleeper to load them into it.
  • Use the connected console to perform procedures.

Surgery Table Surgery Table

Used to perform surgery quickly and easily.

Directions for use:

  • Before use, ensure table has an anaesthetic tank loaded. Clicking a table with a tank will place it in if there isn't one already, and an empty hand will remove any tank.
  • Grab patient, then click the table to place them onto it.
  • Click-drag patient's sprite onto the table to connect them to the anaesthetic system.

Autodoc Autodoc

Performs surgery automatically, for when you have too many patients at once. Directions for use:

  • First, obtain a body scan of the patient.
  • Grab the patient, and click the autodoc to insert them.
  • Use the autodoc console to create a queue of procedures manually, or set it to "automatic" to have it do this itself, but with slower surgery.
  • Press the "Begin Surgery Queue" button to activate it.

The Job

Эту страницу необходимо доработать!

Данная страница устарела и/или нуждается в доработке. Если в доработке нуждается гайд на странциу, просмотрите пример здесь.
Причина нужды в доработке: "Not formatted yet. Preferable to wait for a surgery page before doing this one."

As the undoubtedly trained professional that you are, your job is to heal what the Marines and Medics cannot. This often ends with you doing ALL the work, as medics do not always properly treat patients.

SOME Examples of what you gotta treat, why it is here AND how to treat it: (AIM on the body where the scan tells you it is.)

  • Broken Bones - Caused by brute damage (The RED stuff) to the corresponding body part, usually 30+ (Does NOT always break). You CANNOT fix it if the damage is still above 30. HOW: Incision Management System (IMS) > Bone Gel > Bone Setter > Cautery OR Autodoc
  • Internal Bleeding - Caused by brute damage once more (The RED stuff) to the corresponding body part. HOW: IMS > Fix o' Vein > Cautery OR Autodoc
  • Infections - Caused by taking an amount of damage and leaving it untreated. HOW: Using a Advanced Trauma Kit on the affected region, if that does not work, AUTODOC. If it happens DURING surgery, Cautery usually removes it.
  • Necrosis - Caused by taking too long in Surgery, you sloth. HOW: IMS > Scalpel > Advanced Trauma Kit > Cautery OR Autodoc
  • Shrapnel and Larva - Caused by FF and the good ol' Facehuggers. HOW: IMS > (IF IN CHEST/HEAD) Bone Saw then Retractor > Hemostat > (IF IN CHEST/HEAD) Retractor then Bone Setter > Cautery OR (SHRAPNEL ONLY) Autodoc
  • Limb Replacement - Caused by AP ammo, Asshole Xenos and other fun things. HOW: Scalpel > Retractor > Cautery > Robot Limb OR Autodoc
  • Organ Damage - Caused by ODs, damage to the torso and head, ingesting toxic things, walking with broken bones, etc. HOW: IMS > (IF IN CHEST/HEAD) Bone Saw then Retractor > Advanced Trauma Kit > (IF IN CHEST/HEAD) Retractor then Bone Setter > Cautery OR Autodoc
  • Eye Damage - Welding without a mask tends to end in this. Also getting shot in the eyes. HOW: AIM FOR EYES, Scalpel > Retractor > Hemostat > Cautery OR Imadozaline OR Autodoc
  • Brain Damage - Standard Issue for marines, but when it gets worse you gotta fix it. Caused by hits to the head of all kinds, even when the head is not broken. HOW: IMS > Bone Saw > Retractor > Advanced Trauma Kit OR IF MAJOR Hemostat > Retractor > Bone Setter > Cautery OR Autodoc
