Nanites are powerful tool for passive regeneration. This guide will explain how to NOT DIE FROM USING THEM, how to use them effectively, possible approaches and best selection of music.

Nani is nanite?

Medical nanites are a reagent which heals BRUTE and BURN in exchange for you blood. Usual demon stuff. When injected, they will need time to adjust. During that time you will get constantly damaged, and the process will stop once the nanites level gets to 35u.

When done, nanites will heal 2 of either BRUTE or BURN per tick, in exchange for 0.1 TOX and 0.5u of Nanites. If both are present, both are healed for double the price. Nanites are restored as described below.

How to die

• Just inject nanites and walk away
• Don't use other medicine
• Fight with xenos often
• Avoid medics
• Go into melee with Defiler

Effective use of nanites

Injecting nanites

For the first 150 ticks, or about 2-4 minutes, causes BRUTE and BURN (mild but increases gradually), as well as 1 TOX and 1.5 stamina damage, as the body becomes accustomed to the nanites, replicating at a rate of 0.2u in the meanwhile.

To fully counter these effects, you need to take 45u of each: Bicaridine, Kelotane, Dylovene, Tricordrazine. Do not OD yourself, take 2 pills and then wait for the third. If you have ODd yourself with Tricord, take Alkysine.

Restoring nanites

• If nanites level is below 30u, it consumes blood at a rate of 2 when below 30u in order to create 0.25u of nanites per tick. So you will heal 1 damage per 2 blood.
• If nanites level is above 30u but below 35u, you will gain 0.1u nanites per tick.
• If nanites level is above 36u, they will OD and purge 0.25u per tick with added TOX.

How to restore blood

• ALWAYS have quick-clot in blood. It triples (+0.2 per tick) the passive regeneration (0.1) of blood.
  • Note: pill default is 10u, OD is 15u
• Use isotonic solution - gives 30 blood per inject
  • 10 iron restores 20 blood, 10 nutriment restores 10, 5 sugar only tasty
• Using Nanoblood (ask your Corpsman)
• Using blood packs in medbay

• Inaprovaline - limits oxy damage from bloodloss (also minor pain resistance)
• Ryetalyn - removes neurotoxin and other bad Defiler stuff, works a LONG time
  • Hypervene will remove toxins as well, but will also purge nanites. A no-no!

Gigachad use of nanites

• Nanites restore themselves, BUT THIS IS SLOW. Gigachads don't wait. Gigachads hack the NT med vendor and take nanite bottles, and make nanite pills.
• Gigachads don't use healing pills every minute like a premed pussy, instead they use Paracetamol like real alpha males they are. They don't feel pain, they only feel the stamina gain and the blood of xenos on their hands.
• Gigachads don't like taste of Dylovene, because it tastes like purging Paracetamol. They like Hyronalin.
• Gigachads don't use Tramadol as well, they feel sleepy after. They use Oxycodone instead, because it gives BIG WORDS in chat. Gigachads like big words.
• Gigachads don't like being on the ground or stunned. They like running and killing xenos. They make Synaptizine (no more than 2u per inject) and add Hyronalin there.

Tips

• Defiler WILL kill you. Be careful.
• Once you start having breath problems, it means blood is low.
• Isotonic solution injector can be refilled in MarineMed. Just put it back and take new one.
• If you want to use the new pressurized medicine pouch for your quick clot and isotonic needs, fill it with a ratio of 1 unit quick clot to 8 units isotonic so they metabolize at the same speed.
• Hypervene can purge nanites too!
